    Apologies for lack of posts. I’m in the process of moving a couple of towns over. I’m in the burbs! I have a lawn! A backyard with grass! I hear cicadas during the day and crickets at night! I don’t have to worry about alternate side parking anymore! No more laundromats either!!

    I am sans Internet and tv for a few days (posting from iPhone) but, whatever..

OK, so MAYBE i thought this trailer was cool and MAYBE Andrew Garfield will make a decent Spiderman and MAYBE Emma Stone is hawt as a blonde (actually she’s really cute) - but it does seem like they’re following Marvel canon - Gwen did come before Mary Jane - and they’re paying homage to just how smart Peter is by bringing in his web shooters. The Lizard is really an awesome villain and it seems like it’s a bit darker than when they had their first go-around.

    A part of me wishes that Sony didn’t stick their nose in Sam Raimi’s business (having crow-barred Venom into the third movie just seemed awkward) - and Tobey Maguire, to me, WAS Peter Parker.

    Spiderman is my favorite superhero of all-time! ALL TIME! Here’s to hoping this “re-imagining” is even better than the first! xD

  4. This was such a big deal when the first Spiderman movie (w/ Tobey Maguire) hit so many years ago. Anyone who followed Spiderman, knew that Peter Parker created these web shooters. It was just really strange to have him shooting them out from his wrists..  I’m still not so hot on the whole reboot - I really thought that Tobey Maguire was an awesome Peter Parker - so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see where they take this one.

    Alien invasion. Cool. It looked awesome in the previews - and when I saw Aaron Eckhart (Batman Returns, Thank You For Not Smoking) I was sold.
